This riding toy is decorated like a bee with black and yellow stripes, as well as bouncy antennae (stainless steel spring-mounted feelers) in front. Constructed with the highest-quality components, the Wheely Bug - Bee has a tough polyurethane covering that holds up well to minor accidents. The plywood base is made from renewable plantation timber. Multi-directional casters make it easy to drive the toy in any direction without getting stuck. It's intended for use on smooth floors and runs quietly indoors. A 1-inch layer of soft sponge covers the seat to keep the kids comfortable. The exterior is non-toxic and easy to clean. We have the ladybug version of this toy. It is a great, well made toy. We got this for my little one when she was 18 months. I will say it isn't as easy for the little ones to sit on as some of the more traditional ride-on toys since it is rounded. My daughter likes it more and more as she has gotten older. And my 6 year old still likes to play with it.
