Kick Scooters: Razor USA warranties our kick scooter to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of six months from the date of purchase. This Limited Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, nor any damage, failure or loss caused by improper assembly, maintenance, storage or use of the product.
Electric scooters - Razor USA warranties our electric powered products to be free of manufacturing defects for a period specified below from the date of purchase. This Limited Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, nor any damage, failure or loss caused by improper assembly, maintenance, storage or use of the product.
Electric Scooters - Limited 90 days
XLR8R - Limited 60 day (on XLR8R kit, six month on scooter)
Product weight limits are VERY important to adhere to - especially on the electric scooter - tires may wear out much faster if weight capacity is exceeded.

With thousands of new Razorル electric scooters being opened as gifts this holiday season, we at Razor USA have received some reports concerning products experiencing a condition in which the motor continues to run at low power even though the モthrottleヤ is in an モoffヤ position.
If your scooter develops this problem during riding, remember that in all instances, application of the rear brake will immediately and effectively cut off the power to the motor and will stop the scooter. Come to a safe stop and, without releasing the brake, turn off the main power switch under the deck. We recommend that you do not ride the scooter if it is experiencing such a problem.
Experience thus far ヨ as well as tests we have run here since the problem was reported ヨ seems to be indicating that if this problem does not crop up almost immediately, then that unit is probably fine and the problem is not likely to occur.

It certainly could. The warranty is meant to cover the products for normal wear and tear. If you decide to use your product in a way that puts extraordinary stresses on the product, you will lose any warranty rights if the product fails due to misuse. Razor strives to design and manufacture their products to conform to applicable standards, but everyone must recognize that no product could ever withstand every conceiveable strain or abuse.
